This is just a reminder


If you fucked up today, that’s okay. You’re still smart, and good, and people still love you.

If you’re in a dark place today, that’s okay. Even if you feel like you can’t get out of bed, and all you can do is breathe, that’s okay. You breathe, take the time you need, and we’ll be here when you’re ready. 

Every day is a battle. On some, you demolish whatever’s ahead of you. On others, you just have to hang on for dear life. Either way, you’re a warrior. Don’t forget it. 




“Heheh…Thank you…” She gave a hopeful awkward smile taking the spoon. Phew, finally. A Hybrid? She stared back at the chopsticks and picked one up to perhaps to use it like a fork, but hastily put it back down hearing stabbing was a no-no. 

“Understood Mister Ping. – erm, ahem! – delicious noodles by the way!”

“Of course- eh, and thank you very much..!”


Of course, it wasn’t exactly a new compliment, but it still hadn’t lost its luster. He was almost positive he’d welcome it until the day he died.

“Where are you traveling from?” He asked, glancing between her and the bowls he was gathering at the empty table beside her.


“You’re quite welcome!” The spoon indeed made the cuisine more easily consumable, and any advice in understanding the culture was always appreciated.

“I’m from the city of London, in England, Sir.” She answered after swallowing another bite of noodles. “A little island in the north-west continent of Europe, practically the other side of the world!“
